Stored Simply is a professional organizing team dedicated to organizing Athens and Oconee by transforming one home and business at a time! Founders, Hannah Ian and Lydia Amerson, started out organizing on an unofficial level for family and friends. Together they discovered their passion for organizing was more than just a fun hobby, because they had created methodical processes for organizing that resulted in functional and sustainable organization. So after a few months of planning and filing for their business license, Stored Simply started at the end of 2020 just in time to start cutting the chaos for families in our community at the very start of 2021.
It’s one thing to go to Target, shop for a few bins, and go home to organize yourself. It’s a whole other experience to hire a professional organizing team. From the very start, Stored Simply strives to tailor the way they organize your space to fit your lifestyle and needs. The team starts with a FREE consultation to carefully measure the spaces you want to have organized. This allows them to draw up a product recommendation plan as needed, estimate the time needed for the project, determine if decluttering services are needed, and create a game plan for organizing your space that will be functional and sustainable.
After the consultation has been completed, products chosen based on budget, and time estimates have been agreed upon, Stored Simply returns to work their organizing magic! As the client, you are welcome to go about your day as the team works. Some projects may involve decluttering, which may require a bit of client involvement to make sure the right items are donated, but the Stored Simply team is happy to coordinate a donation, recycling, or trash plan for items that do not need to stay in your home. This is one of the best parts of hiring an organizing team to do the work you keep putting off for you!
Once the organization project has been completed, the team will walk you through your newly organized space and provide tips for maintaining it. Stored Simply’s greatest wish is for client’s to feel like a weight has been lifted from their shoulders! Show It All! - Professional organizers are not there to be a guest, so you do not have to impress them! Show the entirety of the space you would like to have organized. It’s important to have your space stocked at it’s “prime” before the consultation. For example, make sure to go grocery shopping and have your pantry fully stocked if you are having your pantry organized. This ensures that the organizing team can take inventory of all your items and create space for them in their organizing plan.
Communicate Your Goals - If you have a certain style in mind, make sure to discuss this with your organizer. You may want to prioritize cost efficiency over appearance or vice versa. Make sure you verbalize this so that the organizing team can best meet your expectations.
